How Underfloor Heating Works

Underfloor heating,also known as radiant floor heating, is a modern and highly efficient way to heat your home. Unlike traditional radiators that heat the air by convection, underfloor heating warms the entire room from the ground up by using a series of pipes or cables laid beneath the floor.
Water-Based Systems (Hydronic Underfloor Heating)
This type of system, which is more common for new builds and larger spaces, uses a network of flexible pipes. A boiler or a heat pump warms water to a low temperature (typically between 35°C and 50°C), which is then circulated through these pipes.
